Ive got one that I pulled while doing my turbo install, ( well, still installing). It worked fine last week before I removed it. New ones are in the neighborhood of like 120-130ish bucks? So does 50 bucks plus shipping sound ok to you?

Yeah - I need one too. $195 seems like a rip-off for an electric pump. Maybe I can refurb mine by getting new brushes and cleaning the commutator. Has anyone done this?

Well, look at it this way, if it's already broken what do you have to lose by trying? The only real roadblock I see is finding new brushes but I would think any electrical motor repair shop could probably get a set to work for you or at the very least they should be able to point you in the right direction.

While the pump is important to some extent, it's not something that demands an exact fit so if they have something that will work even if it's not a perfect match I'd say go for it. A set of brushes isn't terribly expensive anyway so it's mostly just your time and a few dollars.

In my opinion, get a new one. The old one lasted at LEAST 18 years, go for a new one and make it last another 18 years
