It is Weber Air correction Jet. The number reperesents the size of the hole.

Bigger the number, larger the diameter of the hole. Increments of 5

130,135,140,145 etc. Smaller jet raises the boost level.

I think that the banjo bolt that came with the chip set (APE) was 180 or 190

Eugene.

I guess you can get them from autothority for like $5. I didn't know that until after I mooched one from Red1 (thanks). For what it's worth, I ran my chip with an LBE through the cycling valve at an unknown psi for 2 years without blowing up, then ran the same chips for another year at 15psi bypassing the cycling valve and increased the fuel pressure to 39psi. But knowing what I do now, I wouldn't risk it again.

I guess the reason you don't want to run with an MBC is that they are designed to hold a certain boost level and the APE chips are designed to work with the cycling valve in place, so that the boost will drop off at higher rpms. The banjo bolt acts as a restrictor increasing the boost slightly, but maintaining the drop-off at higher rpms. Eyal, you've removed your cycling valve, correct? If so, then the banjo bolt won't do you any good, and you must keep your MBC in order to build boost. I know this doesn't seem like the perfect solution, but if you turn the boost down to 14psi, I bet you would be relatively safe.

Same here. I ran APE's with a accuboost @ 15 psi without issue on 91 octane. Dyno results confirmed I was not running lean at all and it even got fat up top at boost dropped off to 13.

hmm, i see... I plan on getting gauges really soon (anyone have boost and A/F for sale?) so i can monitor that. I also don't plan on having the authority to long, as I will be upgrading to the guru 18 psi as soon as i can afford to.

I got my VDO vac/boost gauge from summit for like $30; it should be one of everyone's first additions.

Eyal-
Totally understand the budget thing. That's why I made my own plate to mount the gauges in! Only special tool I needed was a 2" hole saw, luckily my dad had one I could borrow. Cut a chunk off of a discarded road sign and presto, just saved $30. Can't remember, what happened that you needed to take the head off for?

I wouldn't waste the money on a narrowband O2 gauge, but others may disagree. I think its too difficult to get a good reading off it.

And if you're looking at headwork, you obviously have some $$ or means of getting it.

i apreciate the input adrial about the gauge, but since eventually i will go wideband, and I really don't have much to lose, maybe a lot to gain. I am looking at headwork yes, doesn't mean i have much money. I am still short a bit actually, but another paycheck or two should cover it. I think its better to do it now since its off, and not have to respend money later on since its stuff that i will do anyway. I don't have much else to worry about such as living expense since I am living at my parents house for a little bit, so i can dump most of a paycheck into the car.
