I guess I accidentally got sent this little black ****-style MBC in place of what I ordered :P so I hooked it up. hehe...
Anyway, it is set to the absolute minimum setting, all the way unscrewed. However, I'm getting 15psi of boost in third gear, and 16 in fourth, and, oh, 17 in fifth (I only did that once... :P). Now, I like 15psi, but higher scares me badly, cause I am running Autothority St. 2 chips.
Cyclic valve is gone of course Any other reason why the boost is this high? Does this thing not adjust lower? And... why 2 psi more in fifth than third? Help! :P My Headgasket depends on it LOL...

You could have a leak in the line between the MBC and the WG so that the WG is not getting enough pressure. Also, it's normal to see more boost in the higher gears.

Turn the **** to + to reduce the boost. The mbc works backwards with the stock waste gate . Thank god you have a weak waste gate spring. Because you would have blown your motor.

You will always make more boost in higher load gears. Since boost is load related. Turn the **** back do dial in less boost pressure. 17psi if fine as long as you have the fuel for it. Ofcourse the autothorty chip's are famous for running very lean at higher boost level's.....so you may not have the required fuel.

jimbo - its marked on the **** which way to turn it, its all the way to (-) side.
Its a fairly strong stock shimmed WG.

You should listen to Jimbo. Lindsey sells those for real wastegates like the Tial or their own dual port mod - stock 951 gates are backwards. I have the Lindsey MBC and a Tial, and I unscrew to decrease boost - you will be opposite.
