Has anyone done a A/C delete by just putting belt from engine to alternator ??

I know someone has tried it! Thanks

There would not be a tension adjustment.

Good luck with that. The belt is a multi rib which can be challenging to install even when slack, can't roll 'em on like a conventional "v" belt. The multi rib belt also requires a good amount of tension to operate without squealing.
