Default what do you think i can get for my car?

well, as i am trying to sell my car, im wondering what i should advertise it as. im in iowa so noone here really can find any others for sale, and i might find some yuppie who doesnt know much about cars to sell it to because he may pay more.

the good:
beautiful zermatt silver metallic paint
leather sport seats
for the most part mechanically sound
koni yellow option
LSD
interior is at like a 9.0/10
original fuchs rims
fresh tires
recently resealed top half of motor, repacked CV joints, new wheel bearings and tie rods, injectors resealed, new slave cylinder
crystal component speakers
autothority stage 2 chips

the bad:
had a salvage title in 88, brought back in 89
has a crack in the paint on the rear right quarter panel, 1/4" long
rear end sags a tad
sunroof got hit when it was off, cracked a bit on one side, about 3" long (PO)
small oil leak up front, crank seal?

basically, shes aesthetically awesome, save those two cracks. i want to know how much i should ask for, like a maximum price to put out, and i can go lower if noone will buy it

I didnt see any mileage, but I would start at 8k with the konis/lsd/fuchs. That might balance out the salvage title. If you can find someone who is looking for one, they might look past the title history. If not, be prepared to get maybe 6000-6500, as some people wont even consider a former salvage no matter what. If you have over 120k, adjust lower $1k.

Having pictures documenting the history of the rebuild process would help immensely. This was a necessary step to get it retitled anyways.

Hey, any ideas when I can give you some cash for the pipes or Tial BOV? The dollar is dropping every day!

I dont know about you guy's but 8000 seems a little high with it being a salvaged title and all. What do the rest of you think?

Eric, from one of dime's other recent posts:

something is messed with the front end, and its gonna cost quite a bit to repair. THEN i come to find out that the rear end doesnt naturally have that much sag, the damn torsion bar has a huge crack in it.
Given the salvage title, torsion bar crack (assuming this is the housing), and front-end problems, it sounds like the frame/unibody may be tweaked?

Ken,

Thanks for the heads-up.....

dime,

considering this new info, 8K is way high.--maybe half of that, depending on what is the root cause of the cracked torsion and goofy front-end.
