Default Group Buy Question

I am interested in starting a group buy. I sent John D a PM with my plan a couple of days ago, but have not heard back yet. Am I suppossed to run a feeler post first, or do I wait for John'd approval?

This is my first effort at coordinating one of these events and I am not certain on protocal.

Guidance for the prefferred method of starting one of these would be appreciated.

You're on the right track, get John D.'s approval first. Also, you'll probably want to consider becoming a Rennlist Member if you're not one already.

Thanks Sam,

I signed up after posting this question. Three plus years of free loading and I figure I owe many times above the membership dues. Additionally it just didn't seem right to engage John without actively supporting the site.

Cheers,
Matt

Oh, and try e-mail, not PM, to reach John.

you're on the right track. Membership down, now Email John, and then get us all excited about what your going to have a group buy about. (well not me, i have no money)

Thanks for the advice. I have sent John an email containing my proposal. If he approves then I will open a new thread to gage interest and see if we can all save some money together and upgrade our cars enmasse.
