Has anyone here ever had a cracked head? On their car I mean? I can't recall hearing of one, I think you're probably barking up the wrong tree.
Do compression and leakdown tests and let us know what your numbers are.

Well... it all depends.
I have seen 2 heads cracked..............well including mine 3.
The other 2 were cracked between holes 1 and 2.....and were very obvious!
Unfortunately with the head on the car its hard to have a 100% diagnosis unless it spewing coolant externally..... hehehehe
Compression and leakdowns can show bad rings/valves/headgaskets etc...etc
A cracked head can definitely pressurize the coolant expansion tank...
I tried pressurizing the coolant tank to see if I could find the crack on the head..... Unfortunately it did not work. My head would only start buring off the coolant once she had been running approximately 3-5 minutes....
