Brought her home yesterday. '89 Turbo S, 39,000 miles, Gold, black interior, 993 wheels, Autothority stage II, fabspeed cat pipe. This is my second '89 951, I sold my last one back in '95. Heya Shockm, welcome to the gang. I believe I know the car, correct me if I'm wrong. I saw it up at Steinels a year or two ago. Your buddy bought it for 13 and change, which was an awesome deal back then, with two sets of wheels I believe. He's been asking 16+ and it's been for sale for a while. I've got to agree with ya on the "gold" part. What color do ya think you'll go to? Any chance you want to join us at 944fest in Lebanon July 4th weekend?

Dan, sounds like fun on the 4th, I'll try to make it. I'm sure it is the same car, he actually paid 15 and change. As far as the color, i'm thinking Speed yellow, black, white, red......really I can't decide.

Maybe I'm mistaken, or there was another owner in there somewhere. Years ago, the seller called me (I put a note on his windshield about the 'Fest at some Mid-Ohio car show) asking if I knew anybody who wanted one and I recall crapping how low the price was, especially with two sets of wheels. I wanted to buy the car, keep the wheels, and resell it for the same or slightly more. .. unfortunately I didn't have the $$. It really doesn't matter, as long as you got a good deal. With the mileage that car was like new! I'll be passing thru Medina July 3rd on the way to Lebanon with a few 944s if you want to join us.
