Default Oil smoke revisited...update...

Well, last night I was up until 1:00 am readjusting the belts and changing the oil and filter. Today, the engine ran great except for the smoking issue. That was until I left work to go home. I noticed a slight knocking sound coming from the engine. I stopped by a shop I know and had a better listen and I'm now 100% sure it's a rod bearing knock. I guess that means that I'll be fixing that oil burning problem when I completely rebuild the engine. Car:1. Ian:0. Did I mention that I blew the tranny in my truck over the weekend? Truck:1. Ian:-1. I am getting frustrated. I have only put 150 miles on the 951 since I bought it. Of course, I knew it would be a money pit, but I'm tired of working on it. I just want to drive the damn thing.
