I've been told that the recaros should bolt right up to Porsche rails but I have a power driver's seat and want to delete the weight of the electrical system. Will I still need a set of rails or will my existing hardware work?

Thanks - I remember that thread but if I remember correctly he was using Sparco seats and not needing any adjustment. I am looking for more of a street setup than track. Looking specifically at the Recaro Speed seats also. I have the same setup - power drivers side and manual on passenger. Anybody do an install like this?

BTW, the best price I have gotten is $625 with shipping (no rails) for a black Speed, Avus fabric, sub-belt hole and manual lumbar. On-track Performance I think is the company.

 

Same place I have been looking - but still need to know what to do about rails.
