Default Lindsey Racing Exhaust install troubles

Hoping someone else out there has the lindsey 3 or 4 inch kit with the wastegate tie in?

This thing doesn't fit right at all, hangers dont line up, nd it looks like i have to cut the wastegate dump pipe bc it's too long to fit into the LR exhaust...

Anyone else out there have recent experience with this, i could only find stuff from like 2004

I'm waiting for my LR 300 rwhp kit for my 86 951. How long did you wait for your exhaust? And did you get it to install correctly?
Thank you.

ok, so first off, I did this all wrong.

I forgot how the x-pipe doesn't EVER fit the way it's supposed to and I let the x-pipe dictate the position of my turbo.

I got a custom kit, it's basically the 400 kit.. so i have the LR 3in DP and an LR snail

i think i waited about a month for the exhaust, i'm still waiting for my fuel maps for the new MAF kit.

i spent at least 10 hours this weekend trying to get the mid pipe to fit right. I had to shorten and re-round the dump pipe, the hanger tabs are too far forward and the main pipe is at an angle with the tunnel...

i did it all wrong. i secured the dp to turbo, then turbo to the x-pipe, then to pedestal, now i'm trying to put the exhaust on... WRONG!

the easy way to do it

1. cut or flatten raised area on hanger so it can mount to back of tabs, not the front, loosen the u-bolt nuts so top hanger part slides
2. loosen x-pipe, dp, and pedestal bolts enough to jiggle things around, do the same for all wastegate physical tie ins.
3. mount everything loose
4. position
5. tighten everything down from front to back: pedestal, x-pipe, dp, midpipe, - then wastegate stuff, then rear section.
