Default Help advice please: cam-tower

It looks like I need to replace my cam tower gasket .... There is an oil seepage ( very small ) just above the
exhaust manifold of the # 1 cylinder ....
I believe that is what is causing the leak ????
So, since I am getting this done what else would you guys recommend I have done.
i.e. replace the cap and rotor ? Is there even an upgrade for that ?
I am also looking to upgrade the turbo wastegate intake injectors etc.
This would be with a stage II setup........

I also wanted to clean the cam cover up
Polish it ? Then maybe a clear paint (do they make something like that ?)
Paint it ? Powder coat it ? What ever I do It would have to be consistent with manifold
and the car color. I have seen red cars look great with a red cam cover.
I have a sliver rose car, so I don't know what color to go with if I did
Also I have a Mg manifold that I guess I will swap out for the stock one.
So that has to be dealt with ( i.e. powder coated ) Pearl white to match the Mg cup wheels ?
Any suggestions .......????
I love the anodized look of Luke's
Too bad you can't anodize magnesium...
Thanks in advance
Regards
Ed

Very simple job. Nothing really else to do. Powder coat it. Cover the raise lettering with adhesive tape and cut to shape before the powder is applied. I have a black crackle powder coat with polished lettering and bolts. Looks pretty.

Of course, the timing belt needs to come off in order to remove the cam tower, so it makes sense to put a new belt in (and tension it). Oh, and the lifters will be accessible too, so if one is sticky, now is the time. Oh yeah, and the waterpump is easier to get at with the belt off, if that is suspect. That rear triagular cam cover seal should be changed too. Better safe than sorry. Oh, and let's not forget the front seals and rollers too... Ahh, who are we kidding, you might as well rebuild the whole thing...

Since I am sending the work out for the cam gasket I guess I will ask the mancanic to give me the cover ... He's gonna $hit when I tell him I will be back in a few days with the cover .... I was thinking what color ??? Maybe I shouldn't ask you ...:-) after those seats ...HAHAHA... but really... if I do the manifold in white ....
Do they make a clear engine paint ??

Don't laugh ... I just had the Friggin belt and belt cover changed less than 2000
miles ago .... I was wondering would a cam be a good idea ... All I hear is that Millage (sp? ) cams are great .... but as a daily driver ?? That in conjunction with
the stage two ... That's a question for John, I guess ...

Andrew
I didn't think lacquer ( like poly urethane )would hold up ???

Manifold in white? you are mad.
Hence Creazy Eddie

but really the reason is that the cup wheels I have are pearl white as well ....
That manifold is the ugliest puke green ... its a lot better than that ....
