Does anyone have experience using the Arnnworx Tensioning tool for Timing and Balance shaft belts on 944 Turbo S.
Thanks

I purchased the tool. A little getting use to, making sure you place it on the right location on the belt to measure. But read the instructions and look at pictures to get the orientation. But its straight forward and it works.

That being said, I found that I was just as accurate tightening by feel, plucking the belt for the right sound, if that makes sense. Maybe dumb luck but that worked for me too. Van has a good video on YouTube on how to tighten belts.

But if cost is not an issue then buy the tool for peace of mind. It works.

Van Svenson, you can search for all his videos on YouTube. He also posts here on Rennlist.

In my opinion, this video (and series) is the gold standard for diy belt service on a 944.

Van, if you read this, thank you very much for making that video. Gave me the confidence to tackle this job and many other things 🙏🏼

It works awesome, and worth every penny. Bruce has videos on his website with detailed instructions on how to use it.
