Default My RR graph What you think guys.

Here an excel job of my RR session.

Bare in mind the A/F ws NOT plotted on the graph (crap dyno) but i had a video clip of the a/f readings so i have plotted them on best i can.

As you can see the boost was onl yup to 14psi but my gauge said it was 17psi. Now who do you believe the gauge or the Dyno?

You said it yourself: Crap dyno.

Or maybe not...Were you expecting 17 pounds?

Accuboost controler, only way to tell how much boost is from the gauge. Hence why i am not sure what one is accurate.

Well, unlike the 15psi chips, the 18psi ones I anticipated a certain amount of boost-drop. Typically down to 14-16psi on most cars. Even then I've had to send out follow-up chips to match people's specific configurations. The surprizing thing is that turning up the boost-controller also helps low-end boost-lag. Such that the lean-spot I program in down low to help build boost is a little leaner than expected (13:1 ideally) due to the extra flow down low. Slim, thanks for the data, I'll use that to burn you another chip. The power & torque figures won't change much though, we'll just dial out that lean peak at the beginning.

Cheers Danno, but hang back, i am going to change the wastegate and get it dynoed on a better dyno that will actually plot the A/F as opposed to me guestmating what revs its at.

Still very happy with the results.

It's been a busy Dyno day here in the UK, here are my figures fresh off the rolling road this afternoon. Bear in mind that UK dyno operators always give a flywheel figure which are those in the picture below. It was a SUN rolling road.

I did get that my peak rear wheel figure was 258 Bhp, which is up from 244 when I last tested in November. At that time I did not have enough shims in my very weak wastegate so I am very happy with todays numbers

The line that goes from the blow off valve to the thing on the end of the fuel rail. This is where the Porsche manual recommends connecting the test boost gauge to.

Seems the gauge in my car (which is connected to the KLR line inside the car is reading 2psi more than the on on the dyno.
