I'm copying and pasting this, not sure what it will look like:

• Steering system
• Wheel alignment
• Suspension
• Brake system
• Wheels / tires
• Fuel system
• Exhaust system
• Bumpers
• Fenders
• Lights
• Electrical system
• Mirrors
• Glazing (windows)
• Wipers
• Hood / catches
• Door handle latches
• Floor / trunk pans
• Speedometer / odometer
• Driver seat
• Safety belts
• Motor mounts
• Gear shift indicator
• Universal and CV (constant velocity) joints
• Emissions equipment

That's what MD state inspection covers. Found it here:

The real question is what do i need to register my car in DE, since they have easier inspection... I'm worried my Omni Turbo may never pass MD inspection... I have an adress i can use in DE, but will DE allow me to use insurance that is based from a MD address??? Do i have to retitle the car???

Can you actually title a car in a state that you don't hold a driver's license in?

From what i understand, all i need to get a DE license is a DE adress.. which my grandparents, or one of my friends would be more then happy to let me use... I think when the time comes, i may just call the DMV and ask what to do if i'm moving, but staying on my parents insurance... see if i can screw the system...

Link to Reverse Light Switch

That fixed my reverse lights when they weren't working. $5.66, not bad.

Your driver's license, insurance, and title/registration are all separate when it comes to your vehicle.

Unless you want to establish DE residency to title & register the car, you'll need to put someone who lives there on the title (e.g. your grandparents). You can then register the car in DE, but still drive it in MD with your MD license. Don't try to scam the insurance company and pretend you live in DE; just be truthful and tell them where you live. They don't care where the car is registered.

That's what I did w/ my truck. Dad and I are on the title and registration in Indiana (no safety or emissions checks) while I hold my MD driver's license. Insurance didn't even care where it was titled, just where I live and will use the vehicle. Insurance policy doesn't even have my father on it, just wife and me.

Don't try to screw the system. It can only backfire. Best approach is just to work within the confines of the rules to your advantage.

Quick question... If the reverse switch is bad will it make the lights work sometimes? or will the lights just not work all together? i'm hoping i don't have a short in a wire because the reverse lights work sometimes...
