So what does one do with a big green toy dumpster anyway?

You didn't exactly specify which item in the background is your other toy.

Really though, what fun is it having a toy with big stickers all over it that say "Do not play on or around!"

And hey Elon as a veteran myself, thanks for your service in Iraq. What's your MOS etc? I'm assuming you're at Bragg right? (or maybe Pope AFB but it's not like there's much difference in that particular case anyway).

Your car and bike are both very nice, I just couldn't pass up the golden opportunity you gave me to be a bastard.

Yeah I kinda got wondering if you were a civilian contractor after looking at the pic, then again I usually made a point of working on a beard whenever I was on leave too.

Former 67U "medium helicopter repairer" (yes repairer is part of the official name for the MOS) aka Chinook crew chief here.

Cool deal, any plans as to what you want to fly? Just remember that Chinooks have the best safety record (well they did when I was in maybe it has changed now). You can't shoot back like you can with an Apache and they don't have the "fighter pilot" sort of glamor that flying an Apache does but if you don't get a choice don't look at it as a bad thing if you get stuck on 'hooks. Also remember that we Chinook folks call Blackhawks "Lawn Darts" for a reason. (The tail stabilator plane apparently had some issues on early ones that would cause it to suddenly put the aircraft into a dive for no reason. I've heard it's because the stabilator is electronically controlled and the problem would arise when flying near power lines, not sure how true that is.) I do think the Blackhawk is a good looking aircraft though and the rivalry between 'hook folks and the blackhawk folks is pretty friendly since they both are in the same company for AIT.

Repairer just doesn't sound right does it? It's a legitimate word but not a very natural sounding one to say.

I want to fly Apaches or Kiyowas- then get to the 160th as fast as I can once I have enough experience to fly little birds. Hopefully it'll workout, I know they are hurtin for pilots now.

I will post some pics of the 951 later, but the bike is new, and you know...it kinda has my attention now
