Default 86 sale price

FYI
My '86 just sold for $27k.
It is 9.9 in/out, needing perhaps an oil pan gasket to be perfect. 100,000 miles.

Yes, lets see pics! A "9.9" is essentially collector quality and would have virtually no defects. I would love to see this benchmark. Seems like driver quality is solidly in the mid-to-upper teens these days.

I don't have any pics of the car on this computer but it is a concour quality car.
Now to sell my '89 951 track car and my '84 944 DE car.
At my age (65) I find myself driving my B7 instead of the P cars.

That is a great result for sure, can you share some of the specs with us? Did it have any special options ie-sport seats, sport suspension, Fuchs etc....? What color combo was it?

Please dig up some pics! Would love to see all of them. And congrats, but must have been difficult to part with it!

I would like to get at least $30K for that car.I have close to $80k in it.
It has a stock engine and turbo with a fresh valve job/springs/matched manifolds/etc Rouge Tuning A tune/ 3" Lindsey full system/ MBC/ dual port waste gate.
It make about 300 hp on 100 octane @18psi with strong low end response to get it off the corners. 80k-ish miles on the car.
The chassis is full house. All monoballs/torsion bar delete/chrome moly arms/$8K Motion control double adjustable dampers with only two AX events on them (760/900 springs) 968 M030 bars,, semi solid trans mount, quick shifter, etc, etc, etc, Cobra halo seats, auto power roll bar, and on and on. It rolls on 17"x9" 993 rears all round, includes several sets of wheels. Handles like a scalpel.
Depending on the class I want to run it wears 275/40 Hoosiers square or 245/40 RE71's Square. Stock turbo S rotors and calipers which work fine on the track with Pagid pads.
The car is glacier blue and still has a complete interior with working AC, cruise etc and I have all the stock parts in great shape including the original power seats.
This is a really special car, it competes with GT-3's yet looks and sounds stock. It could be either raced or brought back to a more streetable setup with wrenches alone as I didn't throw away anything.
Substitute the 3 bar fuel pressure regulator for a 2 bar , hide the MBC with black tape, slide in the cat, and it passes California smog! so there's no practical reason it couldn't be the meanest 951 on public roads if you like that kind of thing.

I forgot to add, the body is arrow straight, it has never been off track or hit in any way. Original paint.
