Default Any Custom Race rims for '86 951 FS?

I am looking for a set of race rims for my '86 951. I want 17's wider than 9" front and rear.

18's will work too. Thanks.

It's pretty difficult to go much wider then 9" on a stock diameter spring. I have 9 x 18 CCW's and it's pretty tight.

I have a set of Kinesis K20s I bought from a lister for my 89, but the offset he gave me was incorrect. They are actually for an 86... They are 17x9 and 17x10. If you're interested let me know.

I am thinking 1500 + shipping without the tires. The tires are around $250 each, so I'd have to think pretty hard about that... If I can be in town, I will take them to Hershey.

The finish is anodized. One of the wheels has an area where the PO began to remove the anodization. I have a few pics if folks would like to see them.

I'm bummed they didn't fit because they looked tough my car.

Here's another picture. If you look at the wheel on the bottom right, it has a silver area. This is where the anodization was rubbed off. I hate to sell anything without full disclosure and can take a close up if need be.

Needless to say, those are still sticker Toyos on the rims.

OH MY GOSH!!!!! I just ordered some custom wheels. I could call and cancel but here is the breakdown.

I just spent $2870 shipped:
17x9.5 255/40 Hoosier S04's
17x10 275/40 Hoosier S04's

Your wheels: "Love them"
17x9 What size rubber?
17x10 What size rubber?
Shipping to 73034?
Estimate: $2700 "$1500 rims, $1000 tires, $200 shipping"

If you will do $2000 total, then call me: 405-550-8290

Driv200mph,

I have two fairly local guys now interested. If those fall through in the next couple of days, I would think about shipping, but not having to ship is a big plus.

If you bought CCWs and Hoosiers, I think you'll be psyched about what you bought anyway.

Ken: I got your PM and will get out in the garage to measure the correct offsets tomorrow. Am flying a late flight on NVGs tonight.

Joel, if you were still in Mississippi I'd be at your house tonight with money in hand. Why'd you have to move, ARGH!

If the rest fall through please keep me posted.

There was a nice set of Kinesis in the classifieds but I think they were on an 87 car, $1500. Isn't your car an 86?
