Picking out a clutch, thinking of ltw fw as well.

At the track, the LTW fly is only an advantage - you can match revs much easier when down-shifting into corners. Makes it easier to double clutch, and powering out of a corner is going to be faster.

I also have a spec stage 2 clutch and a factory lightened flywheel. On my bathroom scale (take it for what it's worth) the factory flywheel weighed ~14# before and ~7.5 to 8# after removing the entire inertia ring on the backside of the flywheel.
As for the clutch, I really like it. It drives pretty much like the stock clutch, but grabs well and doesn't start slipping when it get hot like the factory one in my car did.

I think because of my funds I will have my factory fw lightend. That, combine with stage 2 which was 920 bucks IIRC, that should probably just place it over 800 dollars. Next I get to save up for the install. That should be really fun.

I replaced the clutch master, slave & rubber line in-between and I still have problems with the car not going into (any)gear. Bled the clutch 3 times, twice with a pressure bleeder and still problems. Collective list wisdom says it's a failed damper spring preventing the clutch from engaging. So i'm shopping for s clutch & flywheel as well. It's going to be a beast of a job! Anybody in Pittsburgh wanna help------I'll buy the beer!
NZ.....you still got the stock clutch in that beast??
