Hey Dan,
Did you get those issues with the track car resolved? Last I heard you were getting pretty close, debating the cylinder scoring problem. Hope this trip works out for everyone...sounds like a great way to meet local 944 owners.

It's running and pretty good for minor tuning. But, we'll see if the engine lasts the year. I'm already on the lookout for another 'deal' as you can see by my signature.
I was just up there on Saturday helping my sister move. It was fun being in the big city.

I like the twins!
Okay, we've got two dates to choose from.....
The weekend of May 15th, either day
or
The weekend of June 12th, either day
2Tight, I would like to talk with you and plan a route. I'm thinking about 2-3 hours drive time, the remainder play/eat time?
Let me know how either of those weekends look for everyone.

David,
The May 15th-16th date works for me, better than June. The other lister I mentioned (CR) responded to your invite and PM'ed me. My son might want to go also in the 83 but as a new driver I have a few concerns with his skill level on mountain roads, we'll see. I'm sure we can get a fair turnout if a good route is picked. 2-3 hours is about right not counting getting to a meeting place. I've driven several times to Ft. Bragg up Hwy. 1 and back through Clearlake to Sac in a day; too much wheel time is never a problem for me.
PM me your phone # and lets come up with a good drive with possible bailout points for folks with less time. Check your PM for my contact info.
