Will this turbo bolt onto my car? Is it straight fit? or will there need to be modifications? let me know whats involved to use this turbo, If its better then a K26. I know nothing about this turbo... educate me...

The 3LDZ was used on the 930 (911 Turbo) up to MY89. It will not bolt up to the 951. Why would you want to use it anyway?? It's inefficient, laggy and doesn't flow that much. Old design still reliable... Most 930 owners upgrade to the K27-7200 series...
Having siad all of that, you can pick a 3LDZ for couple of hundreds...

someone has one of his 86 930 he wants to get rid of. I was wondering if i should get it. so its a no go?

I had been wondering the same thing. After reading up on the characteristics of that turbo, I decided to wait and found a K27 7200.
