My plans for the car, is to eventually do what it was intended for....put a 3L or bigger short block. As for now, I will put an Aquamist 2d system to lower the EGT's above 5000rpm(WOT), and try to see what I will do about the intercooler getting bigger.

There isn't a whole lot more to do with this car. It's already pretty well taken care of.

Why use the Aquamist, you can control water injection with the SMT6 for 1/3 the price.

Good point John. Does the SMT 6 control the Aquamist with the injector duty cycle or with the boost.
Can it cut the ignition, if a problem arrises with the water system, such as a blockage or no water?

Does it have to be programed or it will handle it by it self??

Other then the SMT6, what and were do I purchase the required parts to make this work?

Let me know, cause this might be a solution.

Wow Steven,

I'd love to see this car in the flesh some time. Whereabouts are you located? We should plan a 'dyno' day or something (at L-Sport?)

MySwiss-

Here is a guy that sells a kit for the MR2: http://water.lovehorsepower.com/

I think you can source the same nozzles from McMaster-Carr. The pump and accumulator are easily sourced for a total of about $100, I think. You would just need to control it with the SMT6 from there. You wouldn't need the pressure switches, obviously. I am not sure how you could dial back timing if the WI wasn't working though.

A friend of mine has recently installed this kit in his MR2, although he hasn't taken it out yet so I can't speak to it.

Keep us posted on your WI...good luck and great buy!!!

I'm in the Laurentiens. L -Sport is where I did my dyno runs last year, on their Dynapac. But I will be going to Zeke's dynojet this year. Just because they are generaly more compareble between Dynojet to Dynojet.

The car will be doing all the DE events at Tramblant and the new track at Calabogie, this summer. I can't wait

OT from this thread:
Well I had that prelude with a turbo kit and a few bolt-ons. It was a sweet color too, NSX Blue Pearl. My brother got a new Kawasaki ZX6-R, so of course, I had to trade him for an hour or two and check out his bike. I get a call a little later, "Ahh, I rolled you car." I freaked out on him and he still owes me a couple thousand dollars that insurance didn't cover. Basicly, he was going was too fast around the curvy road by my house. From what I'm told, he spun around and the front end went into a ditch, did a cartwheel, then back on the road and fliped over 2 more times. A girl was sitting in the back and was thrown out of the window because she wasnt wearing a seatbelt. I was glad no one was seriously injured, but I was pissed as hell. In the end, I got my P-car out of the deal, so I guess I came out ok?

Have you been in contact with Tony recently? I've been trying to get ahold of him for about a month (phone and email) w/o luck. Communications stopped abrubtly at the end of Feb.

Thanks,
Ben Z.
