When you jump 30 to 87 to 87b make sure your fuel pump runs(you can hear it). If it dose than check the ignition coil for power (12 volts on either side). Also check that the coil is sparking when cranking. If that checks out and the car starts than jump your factory alarm black/white to green. 1 to 4 and some cars 7 and 8 as well. If that doesn't work try kicking the dme while turning over at the (same time). If that doesn't work you have to dig deeper (next round)

Right now I have the replacement circuit on the stripped DME relay so I didn't have to fab the terminals on the bottom of the relay. I guess I will take it to the next step and package it up for more extensive testing. The cost should be in the same ballpark as a current DME relay. Unlike the current DME relay, it will not be designed to fail over time.

Brian,

Once it's finished, be sure and put me on the list for one.

Thanks all,
I could hear the coil clicking but no visual confirmation because I am only one person as of now, which also rules out kicking the DME while starting. I'll try that tomorrow though if it doesn't start again. Does anyone else think that recharging the battery started my car?

beab951, be sure to PM me when you get this thing ready, chalk me down for one as well!
