Ooohhhhhh Yesssss!!!!!!!!!!!
I just drove my car back from Lindsey Racing!!!!! OH Yeah Baby!!!! Driving my 951 with whooshes, whistles, and absolutely wide open exhaust without the muffler was so much fun!!!!!!
Thanks for LR for putting up with me all week.
I pulled out of the garage as we test/tuned with the Power Perfect and got everything all dialed in. Then, pulled back into LR, changed the oil, and felt ready to make use of the latest upgrades:
*LR Fuel Rail Kit w/ regulator/fuel pump etc......
*55# injectors
*Stage II MAF
*Power Perfect
*boost gauge
Really not all that much in upgrades, but what a difference. I had taken the muffler off the already open exhaust. Let me tell you, a complete
"ZERO" restriction exhaust just enhances all the sweet sounds a turbo car makes. Anyway, I pull out of LR with the mechanic watching all the dialed in gauges and settings and found 150mph with ease! What a thrill and all the sounds to boot!!!!!!
Driving the car just after I bought it and driving the car now really tells the story of how the above upgrades make a difference with the stock turbo. I feel boost at 3000, but the gauge shows it sooner!!!!! And the Wastgate just rocks me with enthusiasm every time between shifts!
Another 951 fan in the making here!!!!!!!
As some of you know, the car will be back in LR for it's next upgrades soon:
*Super 75 Turbo
*Wideband O2
*Mafterburner
*Breather tank
*rods/bearings
*oil pan upgrade
I will have video/pics up soon of car!

Glad to hear you are becoming more aware of what your 951 is cabable of. When you do your next round of upgrades you are going to leave you zoh behind in the 50-150 department. It nice to drive your 10k doller car and feel a real rush get in your 50k doller car and it feel's slugish.lol.
Although I wish I had both to tell you the truth.

Awesome Drv!! I drove my boss's dad's Z06 and was really impressed, but I have to tell ya, my 951 puts a HELL of a lot more smiles on my face! The interior might be 15 years older, but it's still nicer The engine might be a 4-banger, and with only a few mods... but it impresses me more!
As for the wastegate though... if you are hearing it during shifts, wouldn't you be hearing the bypass valve/ blowoff valve and not the wastegate??
Anywho... glad to hear you are so impressed! It will continue to impress you and your bro! Welcome to the family
