I'm in on a group buy and I think maybe a buddy of mine too. This is a group buy that transcends car models. I think someone should take this to other parts of the list, the more people, usually the more discount. Hell this could even go to other boards.

I just emailed both Zietronix and a distributer, RoadRaceEng.. Ill post back when I hear from either and shoot John D. an email. Until then lets keep it off other parts of this board till we get a thumbs up.

I might be in for a group buy also, depends on if and when the group buy actually happens.

Just let me know,
John

Ok, heres the deal. Im going to email John D. about this today, but here is what I got back from Zeitronix:

10 units:
$250 Zt-2 Bundle ,$360 Zt-2 Bundle with the LCD display.

20 units:
$240 Zt-2 Bundle, $350 Zt-2 Bundle with the LCD display

We cannot offer any price brake on the EGT and Boost sensors. However most tuners already have the EGT probe, which can be rewired into the Zt-2 using supplied connector. Boost sensor is optional. You may find out it's more accurate than most boost gauges at half cost of the pick and hold gauge.

They recently did a DSM club group buy and as a part of the deal added a "splash" screen that flashed So-Cal DSM Club while the LCD warms up. They said they could do something similar, but I dont think we really need that.

I have read the website info several times and am confused. Also, they don't have a phone number to call (or address), only e-mail address.

Anyway, it appears to me that the basic unit is not really a meter in that there is no display. The box in the photos is white with no LEDs. It would only be used for downloading to a laptop for tuning purposes.

Is this correct?

Ok, so we're looking at $360 with the LCD display, plus another $59 if you want an EGT probe, correct? Thats still not too bad..

First it takes you three weeks to notice my post and now you arrange a group buy just when I have bought mine!

Well I am still happy if it delivers to promise.

Zbigniew shipped on the promised day and followed up delivery so I'll think you be ok to buy from Zeitronix.

I guess you don't need the display but I couldn't resist buying it.

DARNIT! I don't have the discretionary funds OR the domestic credits available to participate in this group buy! Looks like I am heading into the doghouse again! lol

Seriously, count me in!
