Few TWS pics from PCA Weekend

Andre is the Snap-On Tools guy for Houston. Very good friend of Sam of ProTechnik and Viking. From what I understand it was the small concrete retaining wall on driver's left just before turn #4.

Ok, I think I do know him. Shame.
The small wall is the only thing I can think of and talk about incredibly back luck, it is nearly impossible to hit that wall.
The poor corner workers must have been freaked the hell out they would have been watching it from across the track and would have had no way to cross the hot track until the session was red-flagged (I assume it was).
There is a plus, a lot of people like to stand not too far from there in the infield, at least no one else was hurt. I think we all know the risk we take on the track with other cars around.

Was that car pale yellow? If it's the one I'm thinking of they had difficulties with that car leaving the track a couple of times last year. I hope Andre is going to be ok.
I got up there Sunday in time to see the enduro. We saw the BMW CCA's sprint races before and after. There were only 13 cars in their races.

I made it up there on Sunday in time to pass the TWS Ambulance on its way to the hospital. I saw the car afterwards, it was a mess. I hope that bloke is going to be OK.
Saw some pretty damn impressive qualifying laps for the enduro. I imagine the racers group were suitably impressed with their guest driver (Buckley) I understand he turned a 1:45 or something close to it. Impressive. I remember he used to do 1:58 ish in his own car.
I didn't get to watch the enduro, had to drive home again and pack. BTW I loaded my yellow 951 into the shipping container today. I guess its sitting in Houston right now, she'll sail for Oz in a couple of days.

Wayne, sorry to see you going but I know you're probably ready to get back home after your assignment. Sorry I never got to hook up and see your car and also that you won't be around in September when Jim gets the track car to TWS, I hope that I can make that too.
Cheers and be safe.
