Long term go with the MAF tuner... or stand alone...

What set of chips are you useing-APE stage 2 or K27 chips.

How do you know you are running lean, have you been on a dyno yet?

You need a PB system to adjust your'e AF- ratio. Without PB your'e 55lbs are dumping to much fueil across- the entire rpm band.

Well, i just got off the phone with Tim at SPR, AN he said the best way to go is get a 3bar fuel Press Reg and a MAF tuner, i jsut ordered that but i am not sure which MAF tuner to go with. Any one help me of here... thanks

I have not been on a dyno yet, but on my A/F gauge its all the way leaned out. I believe they are K27 chips, but i don't have a K27, i have got a K29..

The smt-6 looks like a good bet. Vitesse sell them.

The Power Perfect I believe is the one that SFR uses with their new MAF kit that requires that you have some aftermarket chips to use and runs about $1000 with his help to tune and comes with base maps for a regular 944T (obviously not what you have anymore). I'd definitely consider getting your stuff through SFR or Vitesse or someone who will assist you in doing your tuning that you can talk to or email data back and forth rather than just doing it all yourself. At least I definitely would. I'd rather have all that brainpower behind me in getting setup so I don't end up tearing the engine apart again.

You should really look into the digital MAF I am offering you. It is full 3 D tuneable and it comes with the instructions from Guru Racing and I am sure Danno will help you too.

It also comes with a cold start sensor!

You can also store the settings while driving. You cannot do that with the Power Perfect tuner as it interrupts the Piggy Back process.

Did you know that? You basically have to stop the car, a real PITA.
Please check out

www.gururacing.net

under digital MAF. It comes with the Tuning module. No rental, its yours.

You don't need a 3 bar FPR or another set of chips, that's money thrown out of the window. Tony G. ran his car up to over 450 rwhp with the stock FPR.

In addition to what Turbo951fan stated, the GURU Digital-MAF upgrade can be tuned and changes take place immediately. If you don't like the mods, just cycle the power and your previous settings comes back. If you like the changes, store it and continue on.

It also comes with a set of GURU chips. If you pick that up from Turbo951fan, I can get you an updated set of chips to fit your particular configuration better. You'll then need minimal adjustments in the Digital-MAF to get it perfectly dialed in. Most people end up with just minor +/- 2-5% adjustments to the 3D map here and there and that's it.
