I just replaced my power steering hose # 944 347 459 03 the one on the right when looking at the fluid reservoir. I understand there is a udated hose does it also run over the oil filiter and around the timing belt cover or does it go straight done to the power steering pump. I ther a problem just going straight down to the power steering pump?

I just installed an updated hose that goes straight down to the pump. no problem, shorter and simpler routing.

Is that the part number for the updated hose?

Thanks Waterguy that is what I did with some power steering hose from NAPA, looked much easier. Turbite that is the number from PET CD.
