O.K. one more question.....Is there a difference in the two. Reason: I bought a head gasket for my early 85 non-turbo and got a "turbo" one instead. They claimed there was no options in the computer for the turbo or n/a. They look the same...can I go ahead and use the turbo one? Thanks guys!!!

Sure can, I have a turbo gasket in my '84 944.

Yes, the turbo and n/A gaskets are the same. Think of it as the motor mounts, they are turbo parts, but for the 944 series

In PET, the part numbers are different.

86 944 = 944-104-374-14
86 951= 951-104-038-01

Also Pargon show two different numbers for the 944 and 951 head gasket.
