Default Oil pan sealant

Has anyone ever tried hylomar on their oil pan gasket vs yamabond or hondabond. Honda makes 2 versions, a non hardening one and a high temp hardening version. I've used hylomar on my cam tower and intake gaskets with great success.

Here's what I do. It accomplishes three things:
- Pan will be leak free
- Gasket will be reusable
- Gasket stays in place and won't 'squirt out' laterally

Make sure the channels in the front oil pump housing and the rear main cap are clean.
Put a very small dab of non-hardening sealant across the oil pump to block joint at the front of the pan rail
Coat the gasket with engine oil, not so it's dripping, just so it's wet with oil on all surfaces
Install pan and use the factory pattern and procedure, but repeat final torque a second time
(Note: no need for sealant in the corners like the factory does!)

This method is easy and effective. I've used it for more years and probably on more engines than anyone, and I hate leaks.
