Question Boost Gauges?

I was just curious what the difference between a boost gauge with the vacuum reading, and one without it is? I am looking to buy both a boost gauge and a/f gauge before I install my chips on my 86 951. Just wanted to know which boost gauge to go with.

Vacuum sometimes helps you notice a vacuum leak - don't let it decide your choice though, it's not really important.

Just so you know, i am not convinced a cheap 1volt A/F guage is any use!! I have one i to be honest i cant really trust the readings. Wide band is the only way to go, unfortunatly its also about $500!!!!

Okay, I just bought the Lo-tek A-pillar dual gauge pod. So what size gauges do I need to get. I think they're 2 1/16, but want to make sure before I spend any money. Pretty sure I am going to get Autometer gauges, A/F ratio and boost. Just need opinons on which is better, vac/boost or just boost, and mechanical or electrical. I'm new to all this so help would be appreciated.
