Default Dipstick gasket

Is there suppose to be a gasket/o-ring where the dipstick tube slides into the side of the engine? Mine has none, and it seems loose and i would image oil under pressure could get out the connection? I am trying to get the oil leaks on that side of the engine minimized Oil air seperator and gaskets just replaced. I don't have PET handy right now to look, just thought someone might know offhand. Thanks

Karl

There definitely should be an o-ring there. I don't have the part number handy but could look it up for you when I get home from work.

there should also be a plastic spacer that has a cross section like a large washer stacked on top of a small washer. The spacer is above the o-ring at the bottom of the tube.
