I also have to give kudos to SFR 3" It seems a little loud but it starting to grow on me cause it has more of a rumble than a ricer I just wish it didnt have the occasional popping sound, which is really my only complaint. Cost 150.00 to have shop install and it went togather perfectly, and looks awesome. Scott

150USD to install it? Holly crap! Thats 60USD moer than it cost to make and install mine! I got a TRR 3" stainless muffler, it has an optional bolt in baffle that makes it as quite as stock, unblot it and its like you dont have an exhaust! Very handy!

Thanks for all of the responses guys. Yea, the SFR cat-back looks great... The quality of the SFR looks far superior than the Broadfoot one. Maybe we need a group buy for the SFR?? And I definitely like a loud (not ricey loud) exchaust. (I previously own a 96 Mustang Cobra which I sold to get the Porsche :-) I miss the Mustangs exchaust note, but not much else...

It was $150. to install complete system, not just the cat, plus I get a little claustaphobic in only 12" to 14" of space. He did a great job and if thiers a problem I can take it back. To me money well spent. Scott

Late to the conversation, but I love my GHL 3" cat back. I know it is a bit pricey but it has a great sound. The quality is awesome. I compare it to my friends dad's B&B triflow and I think the look is a lot better on the GHL especially the muffler itself. It looks as though it is a much better piece.

Well, I need to get a cat installed on mine to move to CA if I go and I had planned on doing something with just upgrading to a 3" exhaust. I'd love to see another SFR group buy going.....I think he'd go for it if we had enough people. There were several last time that missed out for one reason or another and now with plenty of new owners telling how great they are, I don't think it would be too hard to get a good number of new buyers again. I'm looking at the whole system from front to back excluding the small downpipe, so a discount on both parts (testpipe/cat and catback) would be awesome. Some people who only got on the catback last time might want to add the testpipe this time as well even....

Mine is a street/track car. It is very civil on the street when used with a cat. Tolerable without. It is less noisy than my M3 which also has a testpipe and catback.

As far as the hangers, they are very substantial. It would take a 4 lb sledge to bend them.

I run the Fabspeed downpipe and cat-back, and love it, like the rolled tip look, fits great when I take it off and put it back on, and sounds really nice - however, I got it with the car - if it was my money, I'd get the Broadfoot.
