Moving Water-Reservoir to trunk
Hi,
if i throw the the window-water-reservoir out of my engine bay and install a new one in the rear boot(with a long hose) can i still use the stock waterpump or is it to weak ? I think i would also need a check valve short behind the pump...
I´d like to get some space in my engine bay for my new coils...
Regards,
Wolfgang

I completely removed mine, why do you need it anyway? I fill a 1.25L Coke bottle with washer fluid, kept it in backseat, when in need simply wind down the window and splash. ....
I am sure the pump should work from the rear. No problem.
One more thing..... CLEAR your PM BOX.

I think for the first time i will remove it completely... later i will put it maybe in the trunk...
Any tipps for removing it ? I think it must be pulled out from the downside... right ? Are there any known probs or just loosen the 3 screws and try to pull it out ?
Regards,
Wolfgang
