Right, went to pop 1/2l of oil in the car and found this under the oil cap. Now i know that you can get a wee bit of emulsifying, with moisture in the oil, but what do you think.
I dont appear to be loosing any coolent, and the oil on he dip stick is perfect.

Where do you live?
SOme of that can be from a difference in temp outside--COndensation..etc.
Many of my cars here in WI do that when running them hard in the winter and then putting them in the garage for awhile then starting them again.
It seems to me that it could just be a difference in temps or you may just have a little moisture in the oil.
But then again whay do I know i reside in WI. HOme of many strange people!!

I get the same thing but only in wintertime. It must be a temperature/condensation thing. I never see it any other time of the year and my engine is just fine, even though it's been doing this for years.

I am in Scotland and its well below freezing at night and about 10deg during the day. Thats what i am thinking, just some moisture getting drawn up through the breather...The oil on the dip stick is in perfect condition, i will have to keep my eye on the coolant level and the oil for a few months see if any changes occur. Also if it doesnt get any worse and disapears over the summer then we can asume thats the case..

Normal condensation. Drive the car for 30min and get everything hot.. More than likely, the cap will be dry.

It also takes a lot longer for the oil to fully heat up than the coolant. The oil needs to get really hot in order to boil off all the water that's condensating from combustion. So if you take a lot of short trips, it possible to accumulate some water in the crankcase.

I would also agree that is normal condensation.
Now, if what we see in the picture was also on the dipstick......headgasket/oil cooler seals/cracked block/cracked head/bummer/bummer/bummer!

Bill is on the right track. You have coolnt mixing with your oil. Most likly the seal in oil cooler is bad causing coolnt and oil to mix this is a normal problem our cars have change oil and keep checking. Replacing seals in cooler is no big deal, but you must give it attention you dont want to drive csar hot with oil system filled with coolnt.

That is normal . I had switched to a diff chip set and thought that I blew another head gasket. I called up the guy I bought it from who promised me I wouldn't blow another head gasket and took a **** on him., only to find out that it was normal . Sadly, the guy wont speak to me anymore :-(
