Looks more like the old VW Rabbit Trucks... I think if you were to put seats in the back of that one it would give new meaning to "heated seat"

Ding, ding, ding! There's someone who can spot a terrible 80's American car when he sees one!

Funny...these things (Red car) look pretty much like what we call 'Utes' Down Under. Short for Utility vehicle. Every 3rd guy seems to have one. Been around for decades. Usually have an LS or small block Ford in the front of them.
Very Aussie.

Chalk me up in the camp that loves the finished product.
Mentioned in the build thread already but if the kit didn't exceed maximum body width for PCA SP3, I would have been 1st (or 2nd) to step up.

Thank you for the kind words. The color is actually chalk but it does get mistaken for white in certain lighting conditions. Again thank you very much.

The pictures I posted make it look white and don't do the color justice at all. Much more obviously chalk/grey in person. It's a very popular $3270 option these days for good reason.

Tom, thank you for posting the photos. Anything that light comes out as 'white' in photos...I've seen silver do the same.
Kudos to Lobelt for all the time and effort for the car and agree its nice to see a 944 there with the focus needed to complete the project. Interesting induction set-up.
