Default What is the cycling valve?

...and what does it do? I did a search and couldn't find any posts that explained it. Thanks!!

Also, it's not the blow off valve, is it?

The cycling valve is essentially a solenoid valve which the cars boost computer (KLR) uses to control your boost level.

No, it is not the blow off valve. They are both part of the boost control system, but have 2 different functions.

Its the thing that breaks and bleeds off boost prompting you to buy a manual boost controller from the guys above

Why does the KLR need to adjust the boost level? Wouldn`t be better if it just hold one particular boost? like 0.8 or something like that?
When installing a dualport wg and a boost controller this cyclic valve must be bypassed.

Is it because of protection against overboost?
