So now I've got 2 simulated stop and go traffic conditions for about 15-20 minutes at 90-100 ambient temp and no over heating at all!!
Dang who would have thunk it?

So after about 15 minutes of hot-rodding it to about 6000 RPM in first and second gear the temp gauge hit the 3/4 mark or the last white line. Is that normal? 90 deg F ambient temp!

Three Wheelin'
Seems a bit high bit then again its really hot there... Next thing I would look at is what was in the system before... Maybe its just "gooped" up and the Rad is not transferring heat as good as it should... I never hit that mark Even at 85 degrees out and Constantly at redline on the track, But I also have a Huge Oil cooler a well. I am running Straight water in my track-car but in my streetcar (which I have tracked as well) I Run G12 Audi/VW Coolant. I switched when I re-built the engine with Everything evacuated... Rad was sonic cleaned ECT.. Over the years and PO you never know what was put into the car and how sludged up they can get. I cant tell you how many Audi's I have Flushed heater cores for people with no heat... All Due to the wrong coolant. I dont think its a matter of wrong coolant but more "Mixed" coolants Green and G 12, That creates a nice brown sludge...
