Why does the wastegate dump after the cat?

Right, I need boost quicker. Off to the drawing board to design a 3" with a dump pipe. Glad we dont needs cats in our exhausts here!

NZ951......I can't say for sure, but my problem may have been a leaking wastegate. I think the backpressure on the exhaust may have been prematurely opening the wastegate's tired spring. If you have a good wastegate you may not see much improvement.
