at least that's what my car feels like. coil over kit 400lb springs koni's all the way around the car is set way too low the a-arms actually pitch upward at ride height it feels like the car is on it's bumpstops, porpoises front and back. thinking of going to 325frt 300lb springs in the rear and switching to billsteins and raising the ride heigth what do you guys think?

I would find it impossible to live with that setup on the street.

Impossible to live with, I'll give you an idea I was out with my other g/f last night . This morning I came home on the highway, due to the car being so low the bumpsteer is insane esp. hung over and half asleep. The car drives itself you are constantly correcting it this $#@# sucks. I need to figure out a proper spring rate ride height combo.

The only thing you can adjust the koni's for is rebound 400 is a lot of spring on the street esp. with the ride height so low. This week I'll set it up on the alignment rack raise the ride height and re-set the align. With the susp so low bumpsteer is nasty. Generally you want the a-arms level at ride height. The way this is the ends of the arms are pointing up besides throwing the geometry way off it's prolly putting the ball joints into bind we all know how good that is mmmkay.

Sounds like you need to raise it up and get it some suspension travel. Then try again and see what it feels like.

Are you running torsion bars? I have 400# front and 300# rear with 25.5mm torsion bars.

The rear effective spring rates are about 60% of the advertized rates. The fronts are about 90%.
look at this spreadsheet and see if it makes sense. These are actual car setups that I took during a survey a couple years ago.

Notice that the stiffer you go the wider the front rate to the rear rate. near the 400# range, it's about 93% differental front rate to rear rate.

I'm like racer 22 towards the bottom.

Your ride height is way too low, chances are you are indeed riding on bumpstops and have already destroyed your control arms.
