Default DIY EGT gauge?

Are there charts of temperature vs. resistance for EGT senders anywhere?

I imagine with that...I could make my own EGT gauge, with 4 displays...one for each sender. Also be able to set an overtemp warning buzzer...

I've got the data I need...

http://www.omega.com/temperature/Z/pdf/z218-220.pdf

I plotted the data and its linear...so that means it should be pretty doable...

Each sensor is ~$20-$25

adrial- with thermocouples you don't measure the resistance, but the voltage due to two junctions of dissimilar metals being at different temperatures. You will need an ice point device so your second junction is at a constant temp. Or you can measure the temp where you have your gauge (the second junction) and then apply the appropriate conversion yourself. Be glad you don't have to buy an R-type TC, I have one on my desk that cost over $300! PM me if you have any questions.
