Default quick question...

Hi.. I need help trying to identify a part. It sits next to the cycling valve, is attached to the water outlet to the heater valve and has two vaccum lines attached to it, one going to the intake. If anyone out there can tell me what it is and what it does it would be greatly appreciated.....sorry no digital cam. yet!! thanks...

no NZ. its a small vaccum switch attached to the hot water outlet that goes to the heater valve. It has two vaccum lines ( small) one going to the bottom of the throtle body. Im asking because I broke one of the nipples where the line that attaches to the intake goes connected. Anybody???

Believe it's a vacuum switch controlling the fuel vapor recovery system.

It probably is the vacuum switch for the vapor recovery,

I just went through this, after breaking one of the nipples myself. I know the part # by heart - 928.110.128.00 -> it is now superceded with 928.110.128.01 Official part name is "thermo-valve." No one in the country has it in stock. Vertex, Zims, Paragon have never had anyone order that part. It is on all N/A 944's as well. The retail is $30 and the wholesale is about $12.

Easiest is to probably ask one of the recyclers to pull it off a car. Try Ian's in FL or 944 ecology, OK Foreign, Jared Schultz, etc.

O.K!! actualy, 9x auto has them for $33 I believe. I happen to have a 944 n/a maybe I'll take it off since Im not using it right now. Does someone out there know what will happen If I just plug the nipple on the throtle body and cancel this connection?
