I realize that most of us here probably don't subscribe to 000 Magazine for financial reasons but it is worth it. If nothing else, you should get your hands on the 008/winter 2018 issue for the 944 Turbo content alone. Our own Tom M'Guinness penned an excellent article about the Fabcar-built 944 Turbo GTR race car of the late 1980s---I learned a lot about the car and its racing program, and the pictures are beautiful.
In the back of the issue is a piece by yours truly about Bosch engine control units; basically pretty pictures of circuit boards taken by TJ Grewal (@photosbyteej, he also shot the 944 GTR pics) with my words describing what you are looking it. A 951 DME and KLR control unit are prominently featured in the article, and will likely look familiar to many of you! With his electronics knowledge, Tom probably would have been better suited for this topic than myself, but I think it turned out pretty well. My tech articles are now a regular feature of 000, and I'll try to sneak in as much 944 content as possible
