travis is right. take it in the *** and be as pleasant as possible when he pulls you over. then take him to court and shove one in twice the size.

again, fight it, the ticket is wrong so its void. you seem like the kind of guy that would be willing enough and motivated enough to teach this cop a lesson in writing tickets. just do it professionally cause the judge will HATE you if you don't.

there was too much BS to schlog thru but despite that i'll venture a stab at an educated response.

if you broke a law, and got caught, you deserve to be "arested" aka stopped, and possibly "cited" aka given a ticket. however, you may not deserve nor expect to have it stick, so feel free to fight it.

if however i read what happened wrong, and you were either cited for the wrong offense, or if you didn't truly commit an offense, and were (again) improperly cited, then you can expect to fairly easily win any contest legally.

however keep in mind, the law _IS_ written in stone - it really IS black and white. either you f**ked up or you didn't. the only grey area is, if you DID do wrong, how the sentancing is imposed, the judge has some leniency / room to manuver there.

so which was it, spell it out in english, did you or did you not break a traffic law (even if you feel it was a dumb/unnecessary one)??? and if you did, were you cited / ticketed for the PROPER offense?

Ever think that maybe the "pigs" wouldn't be so difficult to get along with if they didn't have to deal with punks who call them pigs while they are just trying to do their jobs?
