That splitter looks a lot like the AIR race version.

I think the natural lines of the car are just the way they should be. The way the body wraps down both from the front and from the sides. All a 951 needs is some 18" wheels like Boostguy"s a, a straight body and clean paint . I wonder how the back would look with something not so bulky . The one shown looks like they just painted the hatch.

Even though I hate the hatch and rear air intake the car seems to be built with very high quailty and finish.

But I really like the splitter/air dam! But I already got problems with speed bumps and uneven roads with my current splitter, can't imagine that splitter to last one week on the road!

There was a guy around here that had them. Here's a picture I took about 5 years ago at Willow Springs:

These were from IFC and their website used to be www.allporsche.com; but it's some Harley site now.

With careful installation , they actually look very factory. Notice how the flat outside edge of the fender continues onto the skirts? And at the rear, it has the same 45-degree crease where the fender comes back into the body of the car.

As someone said above it's Jacquemond styling. Hideous IMO.

That hatch originially was produced by Strosek as well as a variation of the widebody quarters and side skirts.

didn't they say wide body parts for the 951 are bad for street use because they crack often? Not sure but i thought someone told me that.

I'm not positive but when I worked at Porsche dealer in Chicago this car came in for service, same color, same wheels, It is a Stosek kit, very expensive in its time.kind of cheesey looks better in pictures than in real life. I drove this or a car just like it and it is hard to see out the rear window it is very small. Impossible to drive this car on track. But what you are asking is looks of side skirts, I like the looks of them. not a bolt on piece though needs a little body work to mount.
