Default drivers mirror issue

Mirror switch issue

Ok,

1. brand new control switch , the one in center console

2. When flip control switch to drivers (left) mirror , only driver mirror moves though with high pitched squeak and only moves left, right and up - won’t move down

3. When flip control switch to passenger-mirror , passenger AND driver mirrors move

Passenger mirror moves in all directions

Took switch in driver door apart and cleaned, wasn’t dirty, and still problem exists

Thoughts?

sounds like a short in the flip control switch and some bad wiring behind the mirror or in the other switch. I usually just set my mirrors up and leave them alone. but I understand wanting to make everything work as it should. good luck!

Mine does the same, never looked into it. I suspected the switches or relays, though idk if there's any relays linked to it or not.
