Default Power steering adjuster not long enough

i have a new power steering belt. But in order to get it tensioned I’m at near the very max of the turnbuckle length. I’m concerned that on track I’ll loose the turnbuckle cause it’s only held on with a few threads. I tried ordering the next size down in belt size but it was too small

anyine have a similar issue? Anything to be done ? I also ordered the rennbay tentioner and it’s the same length as the factory one
