Default Thread spec on cam tower plugs?

anyone...anyone....anyone? im going to make a batch of breather plugs, and maybe a few dozen for colored anodizing. i want to do the cad drawings today, and its too ****ty outside to go digging around in the garage.

and for that matter...has anyone compiled a complete list of engine fasteners...im putting a motor together here and most of the hardware requires replacement (restoration actually, but stainless is too cheap for me to even consider porsche oem stuff)

thanks

They are M18 threads, same as the larger spark plugs threads. If you get some 'spark plug savers' from Autozone or o'reiley's they will fit right in. I just did some breather mod work on mine with these are they work a treat. YOu can use 3/8" NPT right in the back of them.

I'm looking for a fastener list also. My engine is pieced together from several sources, so I don't have any original fasteners to go by.

One thing though. You're not going to want to use stainless fasteners into aluminum. The two metals will react to each other and the turn into a white powder. Yellow Chromate (what the factory used) would be my first choice, black oxide will also work.
