Default PTFE Fuel Line Routing

Question for anyone who's replaced the original hard lines with AN hose: I'm replacing with -8AN feed and -6AN return lines using aeroquip teflon hose. My current plan is to run this hose between the torsion tube carrier and the body. I'm using solid mounts on the torsion tube, but I'm still concerned that this area might get pinched while driving at the track.

Has anyone else routed big lines like this through that area and is it safe to do so? Or is it better to run the lines under the carrier?

There is more room if routing the lines closer to the exhaust but that seems like a bad idea for many other reasons.

Any photos welcome!

For anyone curious, this is a 044 pump and a fuel lab filter set up. No fittings after the filter all the way up to the fuel rail. And 10 gauge feeding the pump. All to give the ID1050X injectors a fair chance

I pinched the original hard lines there when reinstalling the torsion bar carrier once and they leaked. So it's already pretty tight. I replaced that area with flexible lines under the carrier, no problems.

I ran a -8An line following the original fuel line. I can post pics later when I crawl under the car.

I'm running -8 feed and -6 return along the factory path until it enters the engine bay. Not track time, but the occasional speed bump scraping does not contact the lines.
