Yeah....was driving the 944 NA at night, stopped at a red light, silver 993 parked across the intersection at a gas station. For some ODD REASON, I started creeping forward and eventually, completely unknowingly, drove through the red light and the intersection. My buddy was so shocked that he didn't even say anything, thinking it was a joke at first.

Is it me or does the car have a considerable amount of body filler? (which would mean that the car has been fixed and/or painted before).

that car is not totaled. Its mainly cosmetic fix's. Go with Tony's option for the cheapest fix.

Tony, I am with you, not the first time in that area. I would just replace with used fender(s)/hood/nose panel

it's not too bad, I would replace the fender, doesn't look like body filler to me, cause bodyfiller cracks and falls off. shouldn't be that bad if there is no significant mechanical damage.

That's not much work, doesn't look too bad. I would just replace the damaged panels with good used ones and then get a repaint. Much less work that swapping shells, and probably cheaper.

Sorry to hear about that!

There is no body filler, besides on the rear quarter panel (just visible in the pic). All the different colors are from various coats of paints and primers from the past. This accident may be a blessing in disguise, it will be a chance to finally get some QUALITY body work and paint done.
